This position uses manual and CNC equipment to make forge die tooling. You will operate the latest in CNC equipment such as lathes, vertical milling centers, horizontal milling centers, high speed milling machines, and (EDM) electrical discharge machines. You will use saws, grinders, drill presses, forklifts, overhead cranes, computers, hand tools and measuring tools.

A 2-year associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology is required. Tool making experience in the forging, casting or stamping fields is preferred. At the completion of the apprenticeship journeyman status is credited through the Department of Labor.
